La sezione in italiano raccoglie i prezzi dei medicinali di interesse urologico e andrologico, con il principio attivo, i dosaggi autorizzati in Italia e l’indicazione di quando la ricetta è obbligatoria: listino della farmacia con prezzi, principi attivi e obbligo di ricetta. La categoria più consultata è quella dei farmaci per la disfunzione erettile e l’eiaculazione precoce; seguono gli antibiotici per le infezioni urinarie e genitali.

Archivio Italiano di Urologia e Andrologia
Archivio Italiano di Urologia e Andrologia is the official English language journal of SIA (Società Italiana di Andrologia), SIEUN (Società Italiana di Ecografia Urologica, Nefrologica e Andrologica), SIUrO (Società Italiana di Urologia Oncologica) and UrOP (Urologi Ospedalità Gestione Privata).
The journal publishes peer reviewed papers dealing with the urological, nephrological and andrological sciences: original articles on clinical and research fields, reviews, editorials, case reports, notes on surgical technique, letters to the editors and congress proceedings. Papers from all countries are considered for publication. Archivio Italiano di Urologia e Andrologia is an Open Access journal at www.aiua.it.
Publication fee
As of January 1, 2015 the authors of reviews, original papers, case reports, notes on surgical technique and letters to the editors published in Archivio Italiano di Urologia e Andrologia (AIUA) are charged a publication fee of 200 Euros. The fee covers peer review, copyediting, publication, the different formats of publication (HTML, PDF) and the inclusion in Open Access databases.
Board members and regular members of SIA, SIUrO, SIEUN and UrOP are not required to pay any fee. Their co-authors who are not members are required an individual fee of 50 Euros each, up to a maximum of 200 Euros; the corresponding author is entitled to pay on their behalf.
Sections of the journal
Authors who are preparing a submission start from the instructions to authors of Archivio Italiano di Urologia e Andrologia and can follow the review process in the list of papers under evaluation; accepted manuscripts appear in online first, before the printed issue. The complete archive is in the issues of the journal, year by year, with the monographic supplements of the journal and the proceedings of the congresses of SIA, SIEUN, SIUrO and UrOP.
Readers who look for clinical references find them in the current urological guidelines of EAU, AUA and the Italian societies, while meetings and awards are covered in the press room of Urology Planet. A handbook on stone management in 352 pages, written by international stone experts and published by Edizioni Scripta Manent. It covers the whole range of urinary stone disease, from the single stone former to staghorn stones and the metabolic forms.

The stone disease is extremely diverse – from single stone formers with spontaneous stone passage to staghorn stones and stone diseases associated with severe metabolic abnormalities such as renal tubular acidosis and primary hyperoxaluria. It is obvious that these different conditions should be dealt with selectively. In this context sharing knowledge on clinical practices – tips and tricks – between practising stone clinicians becomes especially important, and the most effective way that tips and tricks may be lifted up into an academic sphere is through international knowledge exchange. It is with this respect that this handbook on stone management plays a particular important role by creating a platform for exchange of clinical expertise. The contributors are international renowned stone experts, sharing with us their views of different approaches to the great variety of urinary stone diseases. The handbook offers a unique synthesis of theory and tips-and-tricks-technology, bridging basic science and daily clinical practice.
